When optimizing your Google My Business page, remember to upload your business logo and photos of your business (staff, office building, etc.). For an online business with no physical location, you can hide your address, but be sure to fill in and validate every other piece of information entered. Google plus is still pretty new but the way I see it, Google will really try to integrate the social signals they can extract from Google plus into their search engine rankings. Submitting a sitemap to search engines reflecting any updates will certainly aid your cause. According to Google, a sitemap is “ a file where you can list the web pages of your site to tell Google and other search engines about the organization of your site content. Search engine web crawlers like Googlebot read this file to more intelligently crawl your site.” Don’t put off submitting your sitemap! Google has announced that, starting in July 2018, page speed will be a ranking signal for mobile searches. Page speed has been a ranking signal for some time, but only for desktop searches.
Scraping feeds to create automated content for your website is plain stupid. Either for affiliate gain or just to add content to your website, this type of content, to lure Google to your site, doesn’t add any value to the internet, Google or any human. It just slows down Google, as it has to decide on whether this content is of any value to its visitors. It’s not most of the times. When you’re browsing the

No high quality blog would accept your guest post if it has promotional backlinks going to the homepage of your site.
