In case of a manual penalty, link clean-up must be thorough. If you have a slightest doubt about a link — remove it. On the other hand, if you are dealing with Penguin, you should think proportionally and consider the ratio of bad links to good links. It doesn’t matter how many searches a keyword has in a month if it doesn’t accurately reflect the content on your page! If a search engine makes a page request that isn’t served within the bot’s time limit (or that produces a server timeout response), your pages may not make it into the index at all, and will almost certainly rank very poorly (as no indexable text content has been found). Search Engine Optimization (SEO) • is the process of affecting the visibility of a website in a search engine’s “natural” or “organic” (not paid for) search results.
Start with seed keywords
It’s no secret that search engines have changed the way we search, find, and do business online. They seem to magically sort through countless web pages, find answers to your questions, and deliver results to your searches in a snap. But how do they do it? By using a few complex steps to deliver results that answer or match your search: Crawling, indexing, ranking and delivering. Today, many sites use

Loads of site-owners can’t help but state that they “can’t squeeze all they have to say in just a few pages.” Site speed is an essential element of any campaign and for good reasons. You’ve also got to prioritize index and site structure when reviewing your technical SEO – obvious choices but absolutely paramount. Improving visibility and driving traffic are nice, but the most important goal is to achieve the goals of your organization. For most organizations, that means generating sales, leads, or advertising revenue.
Fix technical issues first and foremost
When you write headlines, it is not absolutely mandatory that you use keyphrases, but you get a decent bump in the search engines for putting them in headlines which are bolded with a larger font than the other text and capitalized. To Google, site speed
is a critical ranking factor. Google believes that faster loading pages yield better user experience (UX) which is a prerequisite for more satisfied customers. A common tactic is creating dozens, if not hundreds of short backlink-containing articles, which are then placed in blogs and websites that have been created for the express purpose of SEO. Consumer behavior has rapidly matured with the growth of the online world. Customers access the internet through a variety of different platforms and channels. Produce quality, SEO-friendly content
In the end, the users, the marketplace, content and links will determine the popularity and ranking numbers. Webpages with their target
keyword in their URL tend to rank higher in Google than those that didn’t. Meta description tags can influence click-throughs but aren't directly used for rankings. On regular pages and posts, Google will most probably grab a piece of related content, including the keyword used in the search query. That makes a lot of sense for news sites, for example. Still, I recommend adding a meta description to all your important pages.
