Google wants to see that you have a legitimate site with legitimate traffic. This means your content needs to be stellar. Google will take action against domains that try to rank more highly by just showing scraped or other cookie-cutter pages that don't add substantial value to users. Think of new ideologies that can help to expand content or go for evergreen content. Note that the target audience keeps changing and their needs are equally fluid. Website with streamlined URL structures often tends to rank higher than those with a messy structure and confusing organization of content.

If you use this tool, you can learn your average position on search engine results pages, which keywords your blog is ranked for, how many people are clicking on your blog from search engine results pages, and changes to these metrics that have occurred over time. page's title may be a few words or a phrase, a page's description meta
tag might be a sentence or two or a short paragraph. On regular pages and posts, Google will most probably grab a piece of related content, including the keyword used in the search query. That makes a lot of sense for news sites, for example. Still, I recommend adding a meta description to all your important pages.
